He leaves behind a community that is virtually free of hate. Gideon Pike, a renown and celebrated Los Angeles detective, happens upon this idyllic place while searching for a sanctuary. For years his life is near perfect and he believes hes left police work forever. But Milo Lentz, a sadistic and social misfit, takes an abandoned farm house just miles from Muskrat Town as his base of operation. Two of the town folks favorite people stumble upon Milos hideaway and are murdered to keep them from disclosing his operation. Now Gideon Pike is asked once again to use his investigative skills to find the killer. In doing so, he discovers that something far more sinister than murder is about to happen. If it isnt stopped, hundreds of lives will be lost.Author Biography: Lee Drake worked four years for the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department.
